Mass of the Lord's Supper & Seven Church Pilgrimage
This evening liturgy recalls Jesus instituting the Eucharist and the priesthood at the Last Supper. The Washing of the Feet reminds us of Christ’s call to serve. The Mass concludes with the transfer of the Eucharist to the altar of repose, where we are invited to keep watch in prayer, recalling Jesus’ agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.
The Seven Churches Pilgrimage is a Holy Thursday tradition in which Catholics visit seven different churches to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. This practice commemorates Jesus' journey on the night of His Passion, from the Last Supper to His arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane
Mass of the Lord's Supper: 7:00pm
Altar of Repose: Following 7pm Mass til Midnight

Sacrament of Reconciliation
It is an essential element of our faith to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at least once a year, but it benefits our souls to receive this grace on the day that Jesus died to deliver that forgiveness to us. Confession is a beautiful way to prepare your soul for the glory of Easter.
Confession: 12pm-4pm
Stations of the Cross
At the hour of Jesus' death, we gather as a parish to pray the stations of the cross. This a practice of walking through the movements of the carrying of the cross and ultimately, Jesus' crucifixion and death.
Stations of the Cross: 3pm
Good Friday Service
Good Friday is a solemn day of prayer, fasting, and reflection on Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation. It is the only day of the year when Mass is not celebrated. Instead, the Church gathers for the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, which consists of three parts: Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross, and reception of Holy Communion that was consecrated during the Holy Thursday Mass.
Good Friday Service: 7pm
Other Opportunities
The Sunday following Easter, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday as a Church. Many participate in the Divine Mercy Novena in order to receive, and intercede for others to receive, the endless mercy God wishes to offer us, especially in this holy season. For more information, click here.
Teens of the parish are invited to a free, special opportunity to reflect and comfort our suffering Lord through a Desert Day Retreat beginning at the Passionist Chapel and ending at St. Clare Church. Contact Gabby at youthministry@saintclareofassisi.org to register.
